The world continues to change – how we do business, how we work, how we relate to a global village as opposed to a city, a state, or just a nation, even what kind of human beings we are beginning to be. Clearly, we are in a different age. There are communities that could not be formed before, transactions that could not have been completed before, promises that could not have happened before.
With so many things that we have depended upon in the past changing before our very eyes, we will have to shift our focus to something we are able to depend on regardless of any circumstance or change encountered.
In the work we have previously done together, you have begun the work to change the way you relate to yourself. You have seen that you are responsible for your own life, that no matter what happened to you in the past, or what kind of person you are as a result of your past, you are the author of your Life. You cannot continue to invent who you are by blindly repeating the past. You can choose to live your life from whatever context you design.
Generative Leadership continues the conversation and the body of work you began in the Personal Mastery, Leadership & Renewal program and from a community of committed partners. The possibilities we see, the opportunities we create and the actions we take are enriched inside a community committed to being partners. So, during this three year program, we will be working at the source of causality for human beings to co-create your life and your work from the context you choose, from inside a community. You will:
· Learn to invent yourself anew inside a community of strong relationships with committed people who share your concerns, your values and your vision.
· Learn to distinguish and to create distinctions to invent new ways of seeing.
· Accept your humanness and your own finitude and create possibility from apparent limitations and weaknesses.
· Live your life from the contexts you create causing a permanent shift in your relationship with yourself, and with what’s possible.
· Use language as a tool for creation, innovation and enrollment.
· Be distinguishing and refining your ability to bring forth, to intervene into circumstances, to create possibility, to make happen what you intend.
· Experience a profound relationship with Life, with Divine intelligence as your co-creator.
These are the new skills and capabilities needed for a leader in a radically different world, in an age of shifting concerns, and potential uncertainty — timeless capabilities that will assist you in continually opening new possibilities for yourself, your family, your teams or groups, your communities. You will be committing yourself to a purpose, a concern that you are inspired to serve, then, learning what it is to design your life from that purpose.
